Kam’s tranquil life in Sri Lanka was abruptly dismantled by the unforgiving civil war, transforming him into a refugee overnight. The brutality of war exposed him to the stark fragility of life, but amidst despair, he discovered humanity’s profound kindness. The compassion that strangers showered upon him, and other less fortunate souls ignited Kam’s drive to reciprocate the benevolence he received.

Australia offered Kam a sanctuary and a new lease of life. As he delved into the world of technology and entrepreneurship, he never forgot the echoes of compassion from his past.

Compelled by an unquenchable desire to serve, Kam served various non-profits, developing innovative strategies to bolster volunteer engagement, promote digital learning, and enhance disaster management. His entrepreneurial spirit harmoniously intertwined with his service-oriented heart, giving rise to Volunteer Earth, a testament to the amalgamation of compassion and innovation.
